    Hours of operation are Mon. & Fri. 9:00am-5:00pm, Tues.-Thur. 9:00am-7:00pm, and Sat. 8:00am-1:00pm.

    Medical Assistant Job Duties:

    • Welcomes patients by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
    • Verifies patient information by interviewing patient; reviewing and/or recording medical history; taking vital signs; confirming purpose of visit or treatment.
    • Supports patient care delivery by helping health care providers during examinations; preparing laboratory specimens; performing basic laboratory tests on the premises; disposing of contaminated supplies; sterilizing medical instruments; drawing blood; administering injections.
    • Educates patients by providing medication and diet information and instructions; answering questions.
    • Completes records by recording patient examination, treatment, and test results.
    • Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
    • Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance.
    • Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
    • Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping patient care information confidential.
    • Serves and protects the physician or health care provider practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements, and Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) standards.

    Skills/Qualifications:

    Clinical Skills, Creating a Safe, Effective Environment, Procedural Skills, Documentation Skills, Verbal Communication, Inventory Control, Planning, Dependability, and Medical Teamwork. Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist Certificate or Diploma is required. One (1) year of experience is preferred.

  • Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

    Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN positions available for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.

    Hours of operation are Mon. & Fri. 9:00am-5:00pm, Tues.-Thur. 9:00am-7:00pm, and Sat. 8:00am-1:00pm. No experience is needed. Never on call.

    NP/PA Job Duties:

    • A general job description would include work-ups, physical exams/evaluations, writing prescriptions, perform and interpret EKG’s, perform venipuncture, and administer injections.
    • Providing assessment, screening treatment services and health education advice
    • Diagnosing and treating patients with weight management issues
    • Administration and professional responsibilities
    • To work in conjunction with the Medical Director to ensure quality patient care

    Skills/Qualifications:

    Must have active Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant license and credentials

  • Nutrition Counselor

    Nutrition Counselor Job Duties:

    • Ability to work days, nights and weekends.
    • Ability to be flexible with your work schedule, including the ability to adjust to changes in your schedule made in order to meet and accommodate the needs of the business and clients.
    • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to be nurturing, sympathetic and empathetic towards the needs of the client while still holding them accountable to program protocol
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent phone skills.
    • Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
    • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook and Excel and ability to use and learn a CRM Database/POS system

    Skills/Qualifications:

    The Counselor must have a high school diploma. An Associates’ or Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred. You need a minimum of 2 years of experience in counseling, or health/wellness fields. You must be professional, collaborative and have sales ability.
