Search a learning platform like Udemy for any lesson you might like – you can learn about everything from practical nutrition to how to make sourdough bread from a starter to the basics of making sushi. If you want to learn from top chefs, hop on to Masterclass and take an online course by Gordon Ramsay or Wolfgang Puck. 

Sign Up with a Nutritionist

Maybe you feel like you need more one-on-one guidance, and that’s okay – you can still get this right from your home as well. Take some time and find yourself a nutritionist or dietitian online. 

The great thing about working with a professional like this is that they can provide direct guidance on the practical application of good nutrition practices in your life. They can help develop meal plans, identify deficiencies in your current diet, and even help improve your overall relationship with food. You can learn so much and eventually stand on your own with a well-rounded and thought-out diet for your lifestyle. 

Learn from YouTube

If you’re unable to pay for classes on cooking or nutrition (or just don’t want to), there are still plenty of free methods for online learning! Just head on over to YouTube, and find some channels to suit your goals. 

Just a quick search for healthy nutrition YouTube channels turns up HealthNut Nutrition (they cover everything from healthy grocery hauls to daily food menus), Mind Over Munch (sharing practical recipes – 15 minute salmon dinners! – and digging into healthy snacks), and Fit Men Cook (which promises both men and women meal prep recipes that are #HealthyAF). Discovering those took no time at all, and their videos have over 166 million views combined. It’s that easy.
